Ichthyosis Vulgaris

Tamanu Oil
Castile Soap, unscented
Possible use: Laurel Berry Fruit Oil

1. Cleanse affected area with Castile Soap
2. Do not dry (area is very dry, you need moisture in this case)
3. Apply Tamanu Oil and massage into the skin and then repeat the process a second time 10 minutes later
4. Do this 3 times daily.

If absolutely no improvement you can switch to a blend of equal parts Tamanu Oil and Laurel Berry Fruit Oil instead of 100% Tamanu Oil. Follow same cleansing and application process

What is ichthyosis vulgaris? Ichthyosis is a skin disease with more than 20 varieties.
Ichthyosis vulgaris is the most common and mildest form of ichthyosis. Of those who have some form of ichthyosis, 95% have ichthyosis vulgaris. The main feature of ichthyosis vulgaris is dry, thick and scaly skin BUT needs to be diagnosed by a licensed provider.
